That's pretty much my initial hypothesis, and it's the most logical one, and none of the 'facts' contradict that hypothesis. So there are no anomalies in that hypothesis, in other words. All the other hypotheses have anomalies, and thus should be discarded.
One note of total irony here (which is a bit of a grand spoiler for my Katrina narrative, even though it will happen so much later in the narrative that by the time anyone gets to read it this will have been forgotten - plus there's the impending end of the world to consider anyway so it probably won't get written), is that I had already envisaged a scenario in which a false flag assassination of Trump happens sometime this summer (probably a little later than this one, tbh, maybe end August/beginning September), blamed on the CIA, which is specifically designed to trigger a real civil war within America (with the help of the 2nd amendment, of course - there are literally millions of Trump-supporters armed to the teeth, after all). This has the benefit to the world of shoring up America's entire military on its home soil, which neutralises its foreign policy. Thus, for example, with no logistical support for Israel, Iran would have a clear run, and Israel wouldn't survive (which of course would lead to the Samson option/the Rapture).
One question regarding this real-world staged event is 'why' - most people would come up with a superficial answer like 'it ensures Trump will be elected' (in fact I believe some outlets have already said that). This is wrong because Trump was going to be elected anyway, because Biden's not going to be.
But when you put it in view of what I said earlier about an internal civil war and suchlike, other options present themselves. On the one paw, there is also the 'control over Trump' (or any presidential candidate for that matter) thing, which is the deep state essentially saying, in the manner of a smoking man, 'I can kill you anytime I like... but not today' - thus 'you do what we tell you' etc.
Then, on another paw, it is an excellent excuse to enable even more powers to the security state, and start genuinely removing the 2nd amendment - which is absolutely necessary for the deep state if they want genuine totalitarianism in America. Americans have been conditioned to believe in their 'freedom' - so getting them to give it up without a fight and willingly choose totalitarianism is impossible without removing the 2nd amendment.
So, I think these are the deeper questions we should be asking, rather than get caught up in the 'how was it staged' type of theory. The answer to that one, after all, is blindingly obvious, as you say!
