Goodies and Baddies - the Unshakeable Belief

It seems many of us are hard wired to passionately believe in the concept of "goodies and baddies." If some knuckle dragging malcontent, like me, comes along and refuses to embrace our designated heroes, the afflicted acolytes of the faith seemingly descend into apoplectic denial. 

For whatever reason, they seem incapable of even recognising an argument that doesn't clearly identify who the goodies and the baddies are. Without these pole stars they are adrift, unable to navigate the seas of discourse. Their only recourse being to superimpose their mythology upon the debate. 

I recently wrote an article titled The Patrushev Oversight in which I pointed out the parallels between the oligarchies in the West and in Russia. Patrushev's oversight, I said, was not that his criticisms of Western oligarchy were wrong, but that he neglected to be transparent about Russia's own. Something I was delighted to discuss with Jesse Zurawell on his excellent Perspectives Radio Show on TNT Radio. 

I did not claim, nor have I ever, that the Western and Russian governments are working together or that the war in Ukraine isn't real. Nor have I ever said that Putin is in cahoots with the WEF.

These are things I simply do not believe. And yet, I am constantly accused of expressing these and other, similar ideas despite never having done so. Quite frankly, I'm pissed off with it all and am not taking it any more I tell's ye! 

My contention is pretty simple and, whether right or wrong, unless I am in some sort of Mandela effect vortex, I think I am speaking the same English that every other English speaker comprehends. My point is this: 

The conflict in Ukraine is being exploited to accelerate the global transition of the balance of power from West to East. This will ultimately result in a negotiated settlement that will formally introduce a new multipolar world order.

This will not save us from the lunacy of the Western "rules based order" but will in fact hasten the imposition of SDGs, CBDC, biosecurity, a new international monetary and financial system, Digital ID and all the worst aspects of the global technological panopticon being constructed around us. Primarily because, whoever wins the war in Ukraine, both sides are avid proponents of these technocratic forms of digital enslavement.

The war in Ukraine represents a very real confrontation between two sides who wish to dominate one system of global governance oppression. And while we're at it, I will add that if it kicks of in Taiwan that will be a second front in the same struggle. 

If any side can be identified as the aggressor, it is NATO and the Western "unipolar world order." Victioria Nuland revealed the CIA backed coup that overthrew the democratically elected Ukrainian government in 2014. Having worked with them throughout the post WWII period, the West used the Ukrainian Nazis to instigate the violence, which reached horrific heights in Odessa and Mariupol. 

Russia didn't "annex" Crimea. After repeated attempts, over more than 60 years, the Crimean people finally had a referendum choice to rejoin the Russian Federation respected. Though not by Western propagandists.   

The Russian government was told by the West that NATO wouldn't expand "one inch eastward."NATO completely ignored these assurances as the US "uni-power" pursued hegemony. The Russian government firmly and repeatedly declared Ukraine a "red line." NATO incessantly courted Ukraine and Zelenskyy did threaten Russia with a the prospect of a large NATO nuclear power on its border. ~Though it should be noted this threat was a distant prospect.

Russian government did not "start" the war in Ukraine. It had been ongoing for eight years since the coup, when it immediately became clear to the Russian speaking and ethnic Russian Ukrainians that there were forces within Ukraine, many of them installed into the Kyiv Government by the West, that wished to wipe them off the face of the Earth. We know from the admissions of Angela Merkel that the Western allies never considered the Minsk negotiations to be anything other than a stalling tactic, allowing Ukraine to be armed in preparation for the inevitable intervention from the Russian Government. 

All of this is true, but that does not mean that the Russian Government, with its promise, alongside China, of a multipolar world order, offers any kind of salvation. Putin is not the white knight, finally riding in to battle the "New World Order."  

All the evidence I am aware of suggests to me that the Russian Government is more than ready to bang Russians up in exactly the same open air, Agenda 2030, personal carbon wallet, jabbed up to the eyeballs, behaviourally modified, CBDC controlled, AI guarded, indoctrination camp that Mark Carney, Larry Fink, Agustin Carstens and Bo Li would love to throw us all into. Russia is among the countries around the world that are leading on the roll out of these soul crushing enforcement mechanisms. 

Perhaps I am so far down the rabbit hole that I cannot see the wood for the trees. Maybe all the evidence that I repeatedly cite to substantiate my view is hopelessly misinterpreted, lacks contextual and cultural nuance and doesn't reflect the reality. Who knows? I am not claiming any special insight into the truth. 

But nor am I claiming that Putin is Schwab's poodle, that the UK government has a shared plan with its Russian counterpart to destabilise the EU, that the US and Russian Governments are secretly working together or that Putin is intent upon building another empire. No matter how often others try to insert these strawmen into their critiques of my expressed opinion, it won't make these assertions and tactical diversions true. 

The main problem I seem to have encountered is that I don't trust the Russian government any more than I trust Western Governments. This may well be due to my own confirmation bias, as I don't trust any government. I don't believe the propaganda spewed out of Washington, London and Paris but I don't believe the propaganda spewed out of Moscow and Beijing either. 

I don't see any goodies or baddies. The Russian government may have a better argument to claim legitimacy in the Ukraine conflict, but this is its 6th military intervention under Putin’s reign. One of the possible benefits of a multipolar world order is fewer conflicts in a more multilateral system of global governance. But there is little reason to think and emboldened Russian Government wouldn’t be willing to use force if it deemed it necessary.

What I see is a network of competing power interests who all want the biggest possible slice of the pie. It appears that this is an impossible position for many to comprehend. I must be a shill for NATO and/or the WEF. Just another Western sock-puppet who denigrates the glorious struggle, led by the great Putin. 

But what really sticks in my throat is the insistence that I, and others like me, in failing to pick a side, are somehow agreeing with the Russophobic obsessions of the Pentagon cranks. You either support Russia or you support NATO. If you dare question the Russian government you may as well write for Bellingcat. 

This is a false dichotomy. Just as I am opposed to government so am I opposed to the wars they fight. Only governments can kill on the scale that they do and without the malignancy of government there couldn't be any international wars.

Has it not occurred to those who support one clan or the other that, in doing so, they are also perpetuating the war in Ukraine? Who would sacrifice themselves in some foreign land, taking as many of the enemy with them before they go, at the behest of a politician if no one believed the monumental shit these so-called "leaders" try to convince us all of. What if we simply refused to identify any "enemy" at all?

The absence of states wouldn't end violence but wholesale slaughter using advanced weaponry would be rare indeed, not the frequent extension of "foreign policy" that it is today. There wouldn't be any foreign policy for a start. 

This may be hopelessly naive but it will remain a pipe dream while we still tolerate "leaders" who claim the impossible right to kill other human beings en masse for whatever justification they imagine. I do not respect the Russian government's decision to go to war and I do not respect the NATO aligned government's decision to destabilise Ukraine with a violent coup. 

There are no goodies and baddies. Just a mounting pile of bodies.
